Multidisciplinary teams

Mutual dialogue between physicians as a basis for a correct diagnosis and a successful treatment strategy
In order to determine the most appropriate treatment strategy for prostate cancer, a urological multidisciplinary team (MDT) meets regularly at predetermined times. The essence of this team is a close collaboration of physicians representing different specialties – radiologist, radiation oncologist, clinical oncologist, urologist, etc.

We work together for the benefit of cancer patients. We are part of the National Cancer Centre.
The Proton Centre is part of the National Cancer Centre (NOC) together with the Motol University Hospital, the Central Military Hospital and the Na Homolce Hospital from 2020. The combination of these departments and their mutual cooperation will enable us to provide highly specialised cancer care to patients, and this care will be timely, comprehensive, targeted and of high quality.
